Central Animal Records is excited to launch our new V.I.Pet subscription. From less than $1.00/month, you can unlock over a dozen exclusive online features for your pet. We know how much pets mean to their owners, which is why we have designed the V.I.Pet service to help better protect your pet and ensure they can always find their way back home.
Standard Features:
Central Animal Records gives all owners access to our standard features upon creating a FREE account.
- Manage Pets - View all of your pets online and manage details such as name, desexing status, colour and date of birth.
- Update Contact Details - Changed address, email or phone number? Easily update all your details through our online portal.
- Online Ownership Transfers - Transfer new pets into your name or existing pets to their new owners with a few clicks.
- Anniversary Emails - We will send out annual reminders to ensure you always have your details up to date.

Exclusive V.I.Pet Features:
Purchasing a V.I.Pet subscription unlocks the following features for one or more of your pets.
- Pet Profile Image - Add an image of your pet to the profile. This is also very useful for vets and council rangers to view should your pet ever go missing.
- Owner Profile Image - You can now personalise your profile by adding a user image. This can also allow vet clinics and councils to see that the correct owner is collecting a pet.
- Active Recovery Service - When 'Very Important Pets' go missing, Central Animal Records will alert local vets and councils through their account with us. Your pet will also be listed on our public 'Lost Pets Dashboard'.
- Lost Pet Poster Studio - Owners can use our studio templates to create a printable missing poster for your pet, complete with photo, description, optional reward and contact details. We can also post this on our Facebook page and our public ‘Lost Pets Dashboard.
- Monthly Newsletter - Articles, health advice and tips, many written by qualified veterinarians will be made available exclusively for V.I.Pet owners. You can even go back and view previous articles to ensure that you don't miss a thing.
- Custom Reminders - If you're always forgetting when you need to give your pet worming tablets or when their next vaccination is due, add it into the system and we will send you an in-app notification reminder.
- Medical Condition Listing - Does your pet have a medical condition that vet clinics or councils would need to be aware of if your pet goes missing and is handed in to them? You can now add this to your pet's record.
- Area Based Alerts - When there are environmental dangers such as wild weather in your area, you may be alerted. We may also notify you if there are certain health risks for your pet in your area such as disease outbreaks. Vet clinics, councils and C.A.R. staff have the ability to post notifications to alert VIPet owners of health risks in real-time. Some alerts such as Parvovirus outbreaks will also be posted thanks to a collaboration with Paws For A Purpose.
- Exclusive Discounts (C.A.R.) - You will be able to purchase our Smart Tags, Standard Collar Tags, Deluxe Certificates, Pet Portraits and more at a reduced rate.
- Exclusive Discounts (Partners) - Central Animal Records partners with several organisations to offer exclusive discounts to our V.I.Pet clients for products and services such as GPS trackers, custom collar tags, pet insurance, pet doors, pet bowls and more with more businesses joining the V.I.Pet program regularly.
- Priority Phone Support - V.I.Pet owners don't have to wait on the phone when they call us. Simply use the dedicated V.I.Pet contact number to jump the queue.
- Pet Age Calculator - No need to work out your pet's true age, our system will do it for you. Just make sure that their weight and date of birth is listed.
- Personality Listing - If your pet is shy, protective, curious or aggressive, you can let vet clinics and councils know by choosing the personality type from over 50 options.
- Height & Weight Statistics - V.I.Pets' height and weight can be added to the system for easy access during vet appointments. By updating the record regularly, you will be able to view and compare your pet's height and weight over time.
- Gold Theme - Enjoy the gold colour theme for all panels and buttons on our online system across all devices.
